3 Men Accused of Robbing 24 Area Convenience Stores

The trio allegedly held up Royal Farms, 7-Eleven and High's stores in the city and the county.

(UPDATED, 1:14 p.m.)—Three men have been arrested and charged with robbing 24 convenience stores in both Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

The men were arrested following a high-speed pursuit into Baltimore County after robbing two convenience stores in North Baltimore. They were taken into custody in a parking garage at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson.

"There is no doubt that these three men would have continued victimizing businesses and store employees if our robbery detectives in the County and the City had not used solid police work to put the pieces together, and then relentlessly pursued this case," Baltimore County Police Chief Jim Johnson said in the news release.

Wow, these degenerates were quite busy on January 15th, two of the robberies being 3 minutes apart. Is that even possible?? Crafty, these folks. If they could just learn to WORK A JOB that hard, I'd be impressed. Until then, I'll just expect more of the same.

Don't look for Elijah Cummings or any other city politician to say the police did a good job. These politicians take what they can from a community and then come around once a year for a vote, and you only see them when something bad happens in the community. They can talk a good story but people want to see action. Republicans and Dems will never accomplish anything, instead of breaking party lines and doing what's right for the people, you are going to have the Dems stick with the Dems and O'malley, Cardin and Milkulski, and nothing will ever get done.
If these politicians won't do what is right, lets just vote them out of office and get someone in there that will get the job done.
As for these thugs who terrorised the city and county we are going to hear from the suspect's lawyers grandparents, and family that these thugs are good people they go to church, they support the family, that they didn't have a chance in life all this BS will come out. In today's world everyone has the same opportunity, even though a school may be in a bad part of the city, the students still are taught by teachers If these thugs are smart they would just cop a plea deal. But we will be paying the bill for the attorney, and then to house them and for there appeals. The world is screwed up.

@Brad, I think you are getting Cummings mixed up with some other politicians because he isn't one to condone criminal behavior no matter the skin color or the neighborhood. Perhaps you used his name as an example, you know, to make a point.

As for the cost to the taxpayer, yes, unfortunately we will bear the burden of trying and locking up these criminals. I don't like it any more than you do. I wish I had a more palatable idea on what to do with them. Right now, my thanks go out to the city and county police officers and their work to drag these scum into custody.

"As for the cost to the taxpayer, yes, unfortunately we will bear the burden of trying and locking up these criminals. "

Its not the cost of incarceration I was meaning. The cost to the taxpayers of continually, 22 times, arresting, jailing, charging, defending, feeding, the cost of all the witnesses and police work in the evidence section, the trial costs etc etc, not even getting to the punishment phase IF punished as these records show rarely happens. Look at them yourself. 15 charges in a single incident and 13 of those charges are Nolle Prossed and 1 is not guilty and one is guilty and a 14 month sentence with 13 months suspended all done with plea bargains.

The revolving door from the streets to the police station to the court room to back on the streets is the problem. When about 3% of the entire population continually makes us victims something must be done.

Here are the socialists in the Progressive Caucus' causes.

Target 'Stand Your Ground' states to deny citizens the rights the government has no business fighting us for.
No cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security benefits. More deficit spending. No check on those programs and therefore the programs failure.
Serious revenue increases, including closing corporate tax loopholes and increasing individual income tax rates for the highest earners. In Martyland now the rich make $100,000 a year. Soon to be $75000. Then $50,00 and then they will tell you how much you need to thank them for "making you rich" as you pay more and more taxes and fees and you will continue to vote for them.
Significantly reduce defense spending to focus the United States Armed Forces on combating 21st century risks. This is why Obama created the sequester.
Promote economic growth and expand economic opportunity by including strong levels of job-creating Federal investments in areas such as infrastructure and education, and by promoting private investment. You know the kind of 3 letter word those JOBS are right?
Shovel ready jobs. "Those jobs were not as shovel ready as we thought" said to chuckles and laughs from the Obama Job and Competitiveness Council Head Jeff Imelt who sent jobs to China with the blessing the Obama regime.

The socialists in the CPC say "We cannot afford to make deeper cuts to vital investments and to lifelines for many working families, but the “sequester” enacted under the Budget Control Act would do just that. The Balancing Act would repeal the sequester, which would save over 600,000 jobs in 2013 alone. Instead, it achieves the same long-term deficit reduction by closing tax loopholes and by asking the wealthiest among us to contribute a little more. "

Funny that they are complaining about the plans they VOTED FOR!
And want so desperately are trying to pin on the GOP.

In the Senate, 6 Democrats and 19 Republicans voted against it.

In the House, 174 Republicans and 95 Democrats voted for it, while 66 Republicans and 95 Democrats voted against it.
Obama signed it since it was his idea. Now his people are whining about it.

Vote the politicians out? They have been in office for a lifetime or more. We call for them to be voted out every 4 years but the voters do the same thing, staying within party lines. Hence, we have the same fools electing the same fools election after election and then spending 4 years screaming "vote them out". But when 2016 roles around (and all the elections in between) the same people will be elected to do the same NOTHING they've done for the last 40 years.

It could be 50+ robberies. C'mon, we see instructors according to news reports "joking around" and pointing his firearm at a human and shooting him. 24- 50 robberies and just now?

I posted that here many times.
Use a firearm in the commission of a crime, 20 years no good time credits, no parole and consecutively to any other sentence.
DISCHARGE a firearm in the commission of a crime, 30 years no good time credits, no parole and consecutively to any other sentence.
This would not affect one law abiding citizen. NOT ONE!
It will only affect someone who has evil in their hearts and someone who would use a firearm in the commission of ANOTHER crime as a tool and should at least add as a significant extra sentence as so called "hate crimes" call for.

We treat thought, in the form of hate crimes, worse than we treat criminals, who use a firearm, in the commission of another crime.

You know they will be just let right back out...a jury in this city will turn them right back in the street because some factions of this city just want to be obstructionists because of their own deeply held beliefs that the police and the state represent something that is designed to oppress them (the same reason that even though we have so many terrible crimes in Baltimore the States Attorney's office does not pursue the death penalty, since the SA believes they will never be able to get a Death Penalty conviction by a jury in this city). Hats off the the police that got these scum bags but unfortunately they will be back on the street before too long. The best thing that can be done is for the convenience store guys to get guns for themselves and shoot to kill.

These criminals had lots of experience in knowing to evade the law.The were very careful to have a plan in effect to "disappear" right after the robberies.By the time the police respond they may be miles away.Certainly no beginners.Hard to catch when there are few leads. Usually simple mistakes lead to them being caught.Regardless of the time it took to apprehend them it was accomplished.Investigations take time so the rights of the people are not violated and gather solid evidence to get a conviction. Now it is up to the justice system to give the appropriate sentence. Whether they are allowed to plea out on some of the charges is up to the courts. The police did a good job and were careful to do it right,
