Why Go: Join National Park Service Rangers for a day-long program of Memorial Day observances. Events include wreath-layings, flag demonstration involving veterans at noon, observances of the National Moment of Silence (3 p.m. in the Star Fort), historic Memorial Day speeches, poems and special programs about the history of Memorial Day.
2. Balticon 45

Why Go: Maryland Regional Science Fiction and Fantasy is presented by the Baltimore Science Fiction Society.
3. Bike Jam
Where/When: Saturday, May 28, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m, Patterson Park
Why Go: Enjoy a day-long festival of bicycling, music, food and vendors, as well as a pro cycling race.
4. Urinetown
Where/When: May 26, 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. and May 29 at 2:30 p.m., Patapsco High School & Center For the Arts, 8100 Wise Ave, Dundalk, MD 21222
Why Go: Patapsco High presents the Broadway musical Urinetown. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. Shows are held in the Black Box Theater.
5. Krazy for Karaoke
