Arrests Made in Plainfield Road Stabbing
Twin brothers Joshua and Jeremy Bernert are charged with attempted murder and assault.
Baltimore County police have arrested twin brothers in a stabbing that took place in the 2400 block of Plainfield Road on Aug. 26.
Police responded to the home at about 3:44 a.m. after getting a call about a stabbing, according to Cpl. Cathy Batton.
About 50 people were attending a party at the house when a fight broke out, Batton said.
The victim was engaged in a verbal argument with Joshua and Jeremy Bernert. The victim and one of the brothers got into a physical fight, and the second brother joined in, Batton said.
During the fight, the victim received multiple stab wounds and was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment, according to Batton.
Joshua and Jeremy Bernert, both 23, with a last known address in the 8000 block of Eastdale Road, were both charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault.
They are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, according to Batton.

Whatever happened to the days when you just slugged it out one on one? It's a shame. I hope they get stiff sentences.

Dundalk is getting worse and worse. The City criminals are now migrating to dundalk to do their dastardly deeds. It may be time to make like a tree and leave.

Why isn't Baltimore County Police called about these people disturbing the peace. 50 people in one house having a party at 330am is disturbing the peace. Maybe if the police are called enough times, they will put a stop to this nuisance. If the house is rented, put a complaint in thru the Baltimore County Rental Housing so the landlord will lose his rental license.
