Dundalk Crime Roundup: Assault Leaves Victim with Serious Injuries
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Here's is a sampling of recent crime in North Point's Precinct 12:
August 11: First-degree assault, 400 block of 51st Street
At 2:30 a.m., a fight broke out between two groups at a party. Joshua Walters, 21, of the 400 block of Wampler Road, 21220, was arrested and charged with assault.
August 7: First-degree assault, North Point Boulevard and Merritt Boulevard
Between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., a man was assaulted by another man and was transported to the hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries. Danny Martin, 44, no fixed address, was arrested and charged with assault.
August 7: Commercial burglary, 7800 block of Eastern Avenue
At 1:20 a.m., a man was arrested inside of Sears after officers responded to a burglar alarm. George Nelson, 37, of the 7300 block of Waldman Avenue, 21222, was charged with second-degree burglary. The suspect was found to be in possession of jewelry that had been taken from the store.
August 6: Attempted robbery, unit block of N. Dundalk Avenue
At 5:25 p.m., an employee of Saffa Pizza was assaulted by an acquaintance. Jeffrey Rosen, 41, of the 7500 block of Ives Lane, 21222, grabbed the employee and attempted to take money out of the cash register. He was arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
August 6: Commercial burglary, unit block of S. Dundalk Avenue
At 4:10 a.m., a male with a thin build used a hammer to break the front door glass of the Dundalk Pharmacy. Several display racks were knocked over and a cash register was taken. The register was recovered nearby, but money was missing.
