Dundalk Crime: Two Burglary Arrests
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Charlesmont Road, 7800 block, 11:45 p.m., Aug. 21. Police arrested David Dannenman, 53, of the 6800 block of Woodrow Avenue in Baltimore, and charged him with fourth-degree burglary, trespassing and malicious destruction of property. Dannenman is accused of walking onto the front porch of a house on Charlesmont Road and using a crowbar to break its windows before fleeing.
Township Drive, unit block, between 8 p.m. Aug. 18 and 8:45 a.m. Aug. 19. Police arrested Ryan Justin North, 28, of the unit block of Shipway in Dundalk, and charged him with third-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property. He is accused of entering a house on Township Drive and breaking a glass rear door, fish tank, ceramic pig and basil plant.
Holabird Avenue, 7300 block, 4 a.m. Aug. 20. A burglar or burglars climbed onto the roof of C & E Financial, shattered a third floor window and entered the building by lowering themselves approximately 12 feet to the floor. No items appeared to be missing.
S. Avondale Road, 600 block, between 3 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Aug. 20. A burglar or burglars broke the side window of a home to gain entry and stole televisions, laptops, cell phones and video game systems valued at $23,770.
Seaside Road, 7800 block, 3:20 a.m., Aug. 20. A burglar or burglars used pried open the rear garage door. An alarm sounded and the suspect or suspects fled the scene.
Alvah Avenue, 7400 block, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 18. A burglar or burglars entered an unlocked door to the Fairlawn Apartments' laundry room and removed copper pipe from the location.
Main Street, 600 block, between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 5:35 p.m. Aug. 19. A burglar or burglars removed an air conditioner unit from a rear window, entering the home and removing a television and jewelry box.
Plainfield Road, 2800 block, between Aug. 8 and Aug. 14. A burglar or burglars entered the home and removed electronics, jewelry and cash with a total estimated value of $9,961.
New Battle Grove Road, 7800 block, between 4 a.m. Aug. 13 and 8 p.m., Aug. 20. A burglar or burglars entered a home through either an open kitchen window or broken basement window, removing 50 DVDs, a guitar and an Xbox 360.
Roberts Avenue, 6800 block, between 9 a.m. Aug. 10 and 9 a.m. Aug. 11. A burglar or burglars used unknown means to enter a garage in the rear of the home and, once inside, attacked a small, Honeywell safe, destroying it and removing 30 collector football cards.
