Eastfield-Stanbrook Residents to Hold Cleanup Saturday

Volunteers will clean the streets and park in their Dundalk neighborhood from 9 to 11 a.m.

Eastfield-Stanbrook residents are encouraged to join a cleanup on Saturday organized by the Eastfield-Stanbrook Civic Association.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the corner of Moorgate Road and Denbury Drive at 9 a.m. Oct. 13, to help clean neighborhood streets and parks, according to an email from association President Karen Cruz.

Trash bags, gloves and water will be provided.

"This is a great opportunity for middle and high school students to earn service learning hours for school," Cruz said in the email.

Cruz encourages all residents who can't make the official cleanup to participate by cleaning the street and curb areas in front of their own houses.

For more information, call Cruz, 410-285-7399.

Clean Bread and Cheese Creek will be there again this year to lend a hand! We encourage everyone to volunteer a little time to keep this beautiful park clean for everyone!

We in Dundalk are very fortunate to have people such as Karen Cruz with the Eastfield-Stanbrook Civic Association and John Long with The Clean Bread and Cheese Creek organization. Many thanks to them for all that they do for our community. THANK YOU BOTH!
