Eastside Restaurants Touted in Baltimore County Commercial
Waterfront dining offers that special ambiance for a variety of celebrations, officials say.
The waterfront restaurants of Dundalk, Essex and Middle River are the new stars of a Baltimore County Internet commercial designed to drive tourists to the local eateries.
Whether diners are looking for a special place to pop the big question, take their parents to celebrate a milestone anniversary, party at a fun and casual beachfront tiki bar or dine in a child-friendly environment, eastern Baltimore County has it, according to county officials.
"I know that I'm a bit biased," Sixth District Counciwoman Cathy Bevins said in a press release. "But the views of the bay from our eastside restaurants just blow you away."
The commercial touts the specialities of several restaurants, including the Seasoned Mariner, Seahorse Inn, Hard Yacht Cafe, River Watch, Sunset Cove, Sue Island Grill and Crabhouse and Brewer's Landing.
The video ends with Bevins motoring away from a pier on a personal watercraft with Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz as her back-seat passenger.
"I just love these places," Kamenetz said in the statement. "Getting to tour a large portion of the county's 200 miles of waterfront with 'Captain' Bevins was an added treat."

No negative comments. Too busy working on another video featuring Mr. Munshell on the county's cable Channel 25 after Mr. Kamenetz told a community there had been no contact with the developer. Interesting viewing, especially when at the time the council chairman also meet with him.
I guess they just get confused over what to say and the dates they say it. There is another word used for misleading community groups. When I remember what it is I'll get back to you.
By the way, Channel 25 comes right out of his office of communication according to the web site. Mr. Sheppard was present while Mr. Kamenetz made these somewhat misleading comments on Fort Howard.
Patch must have an effect, considering all the blogs the county puts out and you working full time reading what I write.
Another words, Patch should be a PR firm fro Mr. Kamenetz according to your standards. Make sure I get my response from your DSS. It will contain some valuable information.
