The Catonsville Comets were great again tonight! Final score Comets 28, Perry Hall 21. The Comets held the ball and drove down the field in the last 5 and a half minutes, leaving 28 seconds on the clock for Perry Hall to desperately try to score, but the Comets defense held.
I think both coaches have some valid complaints against the referees, but especially the Comets. Perry Hall received a 5 yard penalty and the ball was placed back 3.5 yards? A Perry Hall player was tackled during a runback of a kick and the ball is placed 5 yards further down the field than where the player went down. And so it went most of the game... The Comets still overcame it and made it onto Fox 45's sports highlights on Friday's 11 p.m. broadcast!
Congrats Comets!
