Man Injured After Jump From Key Bridge
The U.S. Coast Guard handled the Saturday morning call.
A 45-year-old man was rescued from the water Saturday morning after jumping from the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
The boat brought the man to the Fort Armistead Pier where Coast Guard crews met them. The man was suffering from a broken ankle and back pain and Baltimore County emergency medical personnell transported him to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment, Lindberg said.
"He admitted to jumping off [the bridge]," Lindberg said.
