Maryland Law Enforcement Loves Costas Inn
The Dundalk restaurant recently catered an event for the Maryland Sheriff's Association.
Dundalk's Costas Inn catered the Joint Legislative Reception for the Maryland Sheriff's Association’s and the Maryland Crime Prevention Association in Annapolis on Tuesday.
The reception included sheriffs from around the state as well as important state legislators such as state senator Norman Stone Jr. and state senate president Mike Miller.
“Everyone there loved our shrimp salad,” said Karen Gallion a Costas waitress and bartender who worked the event. “Its made with large shrimp, creamy mayo and a secret blend of spices. We could barely keep the platter filled.”
According to Gallion, Costas has been catering the event along with the Maryland State Trooper Reception for years.
“We cater these events every year and the sheriffs and the Troopers can't get enough of our food,” said Gallion. “We also have a lot of local Baltimore county police officers who are regulars at the restaurant. They usually get our pit beef or ham to go.”
Locally owned for 40 years by the Triantafilos family, the Costas is a real Dundalk institution. They have been voted Best Crap Soup by the City Paper, Best Crab House by Baltimore magazine, as well as Best Pit Beef by Baltimore magazine in the past, and recognized by Zagat’s with an “excellent” rating.

Don't you think our law enforcement deserve a nice meal? They risk their lives for us everyday.
