This is the end result of having all your police resources put into dealing with the ever enlarging sex offenders list ?? Now all your officers are too busy to worry about other crimes and the criminals are enjoying a break from the police and given a blank check to rob, steal, shoot, deal drugs and drink and kill. If they only would create a registry for all violent criminals and track them , check up on them , list them on net , make them report to poice stations for updating info. as with sex offenders, maybe then we can have a crime free maryland as sex offenses are being slashed with having the several million dollar a year sex list. Or is it just smoking mirrors and is the truth way they don't want to epand it as it does not work ?? As if it did work way not expand it and slash all violent crimes. ???? Lets face it in the past 10-15 years crime has taken a serious turn up in eastern baltimore county and is only getting worse ...

Chief Johnson said crime is down and we are all safe like we were in the 70's and he's beginning to sound like a broken record.

Hey BUZZ,

Lets face it how many of our so called protectors "POLICE" do not even live in and or near the areas they patrol as to give them the extra desire to protect at the highest level as once they are off , they have no care to our area.
And what even angers me more is that one owns a GUN shop here in middle river and at times can see at least 1-2 marked patrol cars outside of this store for long amount of time , instead of on patrol. I have told spouse that next time i see this I will call the police station and inqure about this amount of time being spent in the FAMILY gun shop during duty hours instead of on the streets.

Sam, county cops don't live in the county any more? There is no more patrol it's meet me at such and such and talk stuff and it ain't about police work and this came from a shift Lt. I can't repeat what he really said.

I begged for help when I was a victim of the drug dealers and got nothing absolutely nothing from the guys I used to work with. The only thing I got were several visits to the body shop as lot of money out of my pocket for deductibles.

Wait to you see my blog on Shellenberger and cyber bullying. He doesn't believe in that and yet the police has a unit that's suppose to deal with that but can't because no one knows the law or even if there is as law that applies.

Is this a great county or what. We have as 500% increase in the use of food stamps though.

Who is "Recession Dumbo"? Why are you capitalizing it? Is he the new warden? Straight up, are you doing time as in being incarcerated?

I ask that because apparently someone else knows you and that explains all of your AKA's and obsession with me being a retired cop. That may also be why you never answer a question, never.

When I checked with Patch after you stated you knew a lot of people not one person knew your name of Robert Armstrong which you swore was yours and I checked just about all of MD.

Prove me wrong.

You post all hours of the day and night and have easy access to a computer.

If I'm wrong than prof me so. They call you Stank.

Don't put it on the police..... As a resident of the community, I can assure you they are patrolling through there all of the time!

Al, not to be condescending but in my neighborhood I never see a patrol car despite the huge drug problems.

Stank, the BoBB is a compound term and therefore an acronym is used especially since you created it and should be followed by the full meaning of the word once if not a common term.

To make it simple only you and a few others knows what it means that is why until the acronym becomes common, i.e. FBI the full meaning should be written.

Where do you see the word coma? You are not bright enough to wait until it becomes permanent, before you make your remark.

Buzz, I understand you being familiar with police procedures but I think the Citizens themselves should be more vigiliant. Most are leaving it up to the police to be everywhere and I'm sure you have heard that as a police officer.I do regular patrols in my area as a community leader and being active in the C.O.P. program. My neighborhood does have some problems but I try to keep them at a minimum. Being visible makes any criminal uncomfortable. My military experience taught me to always question something that seems to be out of order. I have a lot of respect for those putting their lives on the line for us.Those presently and those who did it in the past.

Dennis I agree 1,000% but this is the new reality of this country.

The shooting of that officer in Overlea after that party should have never have happened. I'm sure there was a large crowd with plenty of noise and they weren't orderly. Someone should have called 911. Put the fire out before it gets out of control.

You are what this country needs, not clowns like Steve and Frank. My tone towards them has changed. I don't lift my pinkie when I drink my tea anymore.

Keep up your dedicated efforts.

"Bared"? Really?

The people that walked past that guy just thought he was passed out on the sidewalk. Every time you run across a homeless person sleeping on the street do you check on their well being?
