Daisy Amey is this week's Student of the Week at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts.
The senior was nominated for the honor by social studies teacher Larry Warble, who cited her for "being an outstanding student and a wonderful person."
Amey is interning at the school, where she works with students with special needs.
"Daisy puts in 100 percent effort for everything she does," Warble said in an email to Patch.
