While photographing my children frolicking on the playground at Logan Elementary school, my camera captured a miracle, or maybe a simple demonstration of the prism effect. You be the judge.

My camera was drawn to our neighbor and Logan third-grader Heather Morrison practicing her electric blue recorder. After taking some portraits of her playing I shot some close-ups of her hands dancing over the notes, and captured a rainbow flowing from her instrument.

As I said, miracle or simple physics? You be the judge.

Thank you for the kind words Sherry, and thank you for spending winter days at the playground where I am honing my skills as a photographer.

I voted for simple physics, but it is still cool nonetheless. Thank you for sharing!
