Man Charged in Middle River Stabbing, Robbery Identified

Baltimore County Police have identified a man accused of robbing and stabbing another man outside the Middle River Inn early Tuesday morning.
Christopher Eney, 36, of the unit block of Contact Court in Middle River, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and armed robbery, according to police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton.
Eney is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $75,000 bond.
Police said that around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Eney and another man robbed a third man of prescription pain medication outside the Middle River Inn in the 2300 block of Old Eastern Avenue.
During the robbery, Eney allegedly stabbed the victim. The victim then apparently stabbed the other robber, police said.
Both the victim and the second robber were treated for their injuries at Franklin Square Hospital.
Batton said the second suspect in the robbery has not yet been arrested.

The victim stabbed the robber. That violates the robbers rights. What has this country come to. According to Chief Johnson there is no crime in the county.

Go Fiqure we are talking about Baltimore "Crummy" County Police Dept. Blows my mind that crime rate around essex is where it is and you can go by the ESSEX GUN SHOP on eastern ave next to dunkin donuts and see 1-2 County Marked Cars sitting outside for hours at a time...OH thats right a county cop owns it....to soon ??? LOL..

Cops are paid to make arrest and issue citations, not to prevent crime, it's a fact. More often than not, the police do not arrive at a crime until AFTER the crime has been committed...ever think about that ? Pay attention if you can...the police will never arrive unless they know a crime has ALREADY been committed ! They cannot make an arrest if no crime has taken place now can they? Ever been pulled over, they check your license and registraiton, let you go and say "You (or your car) matched the description of someone we're looking for" ? Well, they make random traffic stops hoping to find someone with a warrant, expired license, bad tags in some way, stolen car, etc. in hopes of making an arrest or at the least, writing a citation. Don't ever think as long as you are doing everything correct while driving that you cannot be pulled over !! All the taxes we pay to have ac policec deepartment, and they aren't even there to protect or serve us !! "To protect and Serve" ??? I don't tyhink so !!

I think if people like this man steve can leave messages not being involved in the case,talking about drugs and my appropriate messages were rejected then this site should not post information on people whom are not proved guilty..
Petions would help stop these approved messages from apparent friends who run the site that are allowing them!!!!

What are people talking about here? This dude tries to rob a drug dealer then stabs him. I am not a fan of drug dealers but selling some pills does not make you deserving of getting stabbed. If you are defending him cause he did not do it thats one thing but since the County usually catch and convict the right guy I would say this guy should be going to prison for a long time.
