Police: Rumors of Gun at Dundalk High Unfounded
The rumors about a student taking a weapon to the school today have spread via social networks.
Rumors on Facebook and Twitter about a student taking a gun to Dundalk High School today are unfounded, according to Baltimore County Police Department officials.
The department is aware of the rumors and investigated the situation, according to police Cpl. Cathy Batton.
"We have not been able to substantiate any credible threat to the school," she wrote in an email to Patch. "Additional police personnel have been assigned to the school as a precautionary measure."
The school has not been locked down today, Batton said.

Today is Senior Cut Day , the 13th day of school for anyone finninshing school in 2013 I honestly think that this was a excuse the students used not to attend today . as a precaution I kept my child home . My child life is worth a whole lot more then a stupid joke .

Kids are treating these recent events as a joke to get a day off. Until they get caught and have a criminal record. It's not worth going to jail.
