Stansbury Community Cleanup Deemed a Success
More than 40 volunteers from two organizations cleaned up the Stansbury-Eastfield community and park on Saturday.

More than 40 volunteers arrived on a crisp October Saturday morning to clean up Stansbury Park.
The effort was organized by the Eastfield-Stansbury Civic Association and assisted by Clean Bread and Cheese Creek.
Volunteers walked the shorelines, combed the beaches and searched through bushes to remove bottles, cans and fast food waste a-plenty. Golf balls and fishiing equipment (bobbers, bait containers, lures and fishing line) were also removed in abundance.
By the end of the cleanup, 35 trash bags of trash as well as two and a half shopping carts, a bicycle, a scooter and a construction cone had been removed from the park allowing its natural beauty to shine through again.
Clean Bread and Cheese Creek would like to thank ESCA for its continued effort to help keep Stansbury Park a place where everyone can come to enjoy the beauty of nature.
We would also like to thank the 10 volunteers from Clean Bread and Cheese Creek who gave up part of their Saturday morning to help with this worthwhile effort.

Thank you volunteers! Stansbury Park is a better place for all creatures who
visit or make this area their home.
Baltimore County, let's empty those park trash cans every week. There is no
good excuse for allowing garbage to blow into the pond, the stream, or Lynch
Cove.

The excuse is raising taxes; same reason they don't cut grass as often as they should. If people want services done more often, there has to be a willingness to be taxed more...

We are doing everything possible to help assist police in Bernadette Caruso's investigation, and have now taken to raising funds to purchase new sonar equipment to do water searches. However, we cannot do this alone. Please help us in our quest to purchase this much needed sonar in hopes of finding this young mom & providing crucial answers to her family. People & vehicles do not just disappear into thin air. She is out there somewhere & we will not rest until we Bring Bernadette Home.
