Blog: 2 Empty Buildings In Dundalk Center May Soon Be Occupied

Jeremy Landsman of JBL Real Estate has informed me that PNC Bank has an agreement with JBL to lease the bank building at 17 Center Pl. in Dundalk Shopping Center.

I sure hope they sign a lease ASAP.

There are other business entities interested in the grocery store building at 16 Center Pl., but nothing is positive yet.

JBL has created a very real and effective web page for the empty grocery store building at 16 Center Place - the former Santoni's, and lastly the Heritage Food Market. Here's a link to that page:

David, where the heck have you been? Get those fingers taping and those lenses clicking. I tried to call you but there was as glitch.

Honestly...I have no faith in JBL or DRC to ever put thriving businesses in there. They need to get rid of the labor work place if they haven't all ready. They need to clean up that sad excuse for a Dollar type store in the old Strand. It's a shame. They have not delivered on any of the promises. I miss Santoni's I loved their bread. Maybe they will come back since the mayor is raising the bottle tax..lol. Thx for the update though..It's more like a business park, rather than a place to shop. If Dundalk elected officials and self appointed boards don't want my money, I'll drive out to White Marsh,

My camera doesn't click too well anymore; the shutter button is worn-out. There's no fingers taping because physical keyboards don't work anymore with my computer, so I'm typing using the mouse pointer clicking on an on-screen keyboard. Those two negative factors are broilin'-my-gizzards. Extreme frustration.

I bought my camera and laptop in July 2010. Neither are professional quality equipment and are worn out from the intense amount of work I do using them. They're all I can afford.

Before getting them, I worked with old, used computers I scrapped together, and I hadn't owned a camera for several years. It was maddening seeing many photo-ops lost, while constantly having to scrounge used parts for repairing computer gear.

Since buying the inexpensive camera and laptop, I've Internet published hundreds of custom crafted photos along with a serious amount of written work. I do that because I can't survive just sitting home collecting my disability pension from the Veterans Administration (I was an Army photographer on Okinawa 1970-71). But, my pension rate is a low income situation. If I could do weddings, or other "bread and butter" type paid photography, I would.

I swim in a murky sea of depression, barely staying afloat, never completely escaping from confounding sea currents and assaults by foul waves of stupidity kicked up by boatloads of ignoramuses. Some of whom wish I'd have drowned eons ago. Too bad for them that I've a powerful will to live.
