This Saturday, Dec. 1, is Dundalk Renaissance Corporation's Holiday Hoopla and Cookie Tour (4 to 7 p.m.). The Christmas parade, sponsored by the Dundalk-Eastfield Rec Council, begins at 4 p.m.

We would like to make the Main Street parade-ready and picture-perfect, and we could use some help on the Trash Team.

If you would like to do a good holiday deed (Santa is making his list of who's naughty and nice, right?), then come to the DRC office at 11 Center Place (the cleanup is from 1 to 3p.m.) and meet Jacqueline for gloves and bags.

Please park in the lots next to the (former) Heritage Food Market, since the streets will be blocked off to traffic before the parade.

This is a great service project for kids with an adult along for a little supervision, or a kid/parent/grandparent intergenerational good deed.
