David here is another site about Infantion that I just found. Apparently he's back at it as a quoteRead More from the site indicates: "And I read articles online about the veterans and I got angry. And I saw other articles pop up about projects that Federal was losing – for the same reasons… nothing was happening. The developer abandoned the land owner. David I just did another Google search on Federal Development and John Infantino and it looks like he’s back at it. This time the company is called Derek Owens Group of Companies – and the website is: http://derekowensgroup.com/ They never give up.

If you just want to be ignorant go somewhere else. Everything in the writing I am doing is true.Read More John Infantino has caused a lot of trouble worldwide. And much of it to American Military Veterans. Do not foul this up with belligerent ignorance.
Dundalk Village Fountain Filthy Again
cary quintana November 21, 2013 at 10:02 am
Freddy, I made a few calls yesterday and today to find out exactly who was responsible for theRead More fountain. Just got off the phone and it appears the Mr. Sheppard from KK office is already on it, started wheels in motion, and ground crews are being sent out to take care of it. So, although I may not agree with all of the local politicians choices. I disagree that they do not care.
David Robert Crews December 20, 2013 at 04:27 pm
Sorry, I neglected to add a comment to this blog post of mine about the filthy fountain. I meant toRead More tell everyone that 2 or 3 days after cary quintana posted a comment saying he had contacted Towson about it the fountain was closed up and the winter protection wooden cap put on it. We can only assume they cleaned it before closing it for the winter. They probably did.
cary quintana December 23, 2013 at 03:22 pm
I can't take credit. Mr. Sheppard from the county office contacted them just before I did. GettingRead More it ready for winter being the reason? *Shrug* who knows.

Dave good point. Most of these are coming from hackers going on Facebook and picking up e mailRead More addresses and then e mail friends of people they see strings .It is really funny because most of them come from facebook friends that you never e-mail.I think facebook should be held responsible if they had a site we could forward these e=mails to and Facebook prosecuted them this would go down.facebook says not our fault but I can guarrentee 90% are initiated by facebook hackers and that comes fromcorporate IT professionals.

I think for most the ramifications of this type misuse of the internet are unknown until it's tooRead More late. Along with this particular ghoulish prank there are those who use your name to post vulgar comments on various websites without your knowledge so that when your name is entered into a search it appears you are a mental case. The old adage about not believing anything you hear and only half of what you see is about right when it comes to the internet. We had a discussion at home the other day on this very subject and decided we were not going to rely on anything we read on the internet again without other independant proof to back it up.

That pile of trash is scheduled for a 2 week stay - which means it is set to be there until a weekRead More after the flea market. The pile smells bad and breezes blow that stink quite a ways throughout the park. Any mold thriving on the trash probably sends out spores that may be hazardous to human health. And the trash display looks terrible. The trash in that display was gathered up by volunteers who did some community cleaning last Saturday - cleaning up illegally dumped stuff from mostly public areas. The purpose of the display is to show people that they should not dump anything illegally because what everybody dumps - all combined - adds up to quite a big pile of nasty stuff. No matter what the intent is of having the pile there, people in Dundalk Village Shopping Center steadily disprove of having to look at the pile and are seriously concerned about potential health hazards that it possesses. And complaints have been made to the proper persons. But those persons are adamant about keeping the pile in place.

Although that looming tower of trash demonstrates a great community effort, there is still a ton ofRead More trash left to be collected from our streets, parks, banks, and streams. If you know a location needing to be cleaned up please contact Jacqueline at the DRC: 410-282-0261 or email Jacqueline@DundalkUSA.org - Together we will tackle trash!

There are probably union rules that prohibit the manager of this post office from asking USPSRead More employees to pick up the trash. Of course, a good manager would provide some incentive so that the employees would volunteer to clean up.
Evets April 4, 2013 at 01:08 pm

Perhaps one of the student groups at Dundalk Middle School could volunteer to do a bimonthly cleanupRead More of that area. At my school, student organizations do this and the students earn Student Service Learning hours, which they need to graduate. Just a thought. The SSL Coordinator at Dundalk MS is Hayward Johnson.

Dave you got guts going down there in that crowd. How long did it take to to escape out of there?Read More Nice pics ad video.
David Robert Crews February 8, 2013 at 07:06 am
I was alert for the crowd to turn sour at any moment. There were so many hands and arms raised inRead More praise of the Ravens that I knew any innocent elbow could bump a drunk and accidentally begin a fight. BUT! Everyone was feeling totally together and were moving and grooving in a friendly flow. One clown did climb a light pole 30ft from me, just as I moved out of the crowd in case any punches did fly. That clown fell off the pole, then shook it - it was fairly weak not a full sized streetlight - and a piece of plastic light cover flew off into the crowd. I had shot 2-3 secs of video of him then cut it off, because that ain't what I want to show or spread around to others who might do that at another such celebration. But you know how people are, about a-half-dozen cell phone cameras were pointed at the vandal in action. Fortunately, people around the clown gently, firmly pulled him away from that light pole. Yup, Buzz, I was 360 degrees all around 'sniffing' for it all to go too crazy and get on out of there quick; but them folks - intoxicated as they were - were pleasantly polite in healthy-rowdy way.

David is a DAV. People like you soil the earth. I don't forget, just get a little busy and yes IRead More know what goes on. When are you going to learn the meaning of a proper noun? Honestly...I have no faith in JBL or DRC to ever put thriving businesses in there. They need to getRead More rid of the labor work place if they haven't all ready. They need to clean up that sad excuse for a Dollar type store in the old Strand. It's a shame. They have not delivered on any of the promises. I miss Santoni's I loved their bread. Maybe they will come back since the mayor is raising the bottle tax..lol. Thx for the update though..It's more like a business park, rather than a place to shop. If Dundalk elected officials and self appointed boards don't want my money, I'll drive out to White Marsh,
David Robert Crews April 27, 2012 at 04:38 am
My camera doesn't click too well anymore; the shutter button is worn-out. There's no fingers tapingRead More because physical keyboards don't work anymore with my computer, so I'm typing using the mouse pointer clicking on an on-screen keyboard. Those two negative factors are broilin'-my-gizzards. Extreme frustration. I bought my camera and laptop in July 2010. Neither are professional quality equipment and are worn out from the intense amount of work I do using them. They're all I can afford. Before getting them, I worked with old, used computers I scrapped together, and I hadn't owned a camera for several years. It was maddening seeing many photo-ops lost, while constantly having to scrounge used parts for repairing computer gear. Since buying the inexpensive camera and laptop, I've Internet published hundreds of custom crafted photos along with a serious amount of written work. I do that because I can't survive just sitting home collecting my disability pension from the Veterans Administration (I was an Army photographer on Okinawa 1970-71). But, my pension rate is a low income situation. If I could do weddings, or other "bread and butter" type paid photography, I would. I swim in a murky sea of depression, barely staying afloat, never completely escaping from confounding sea currents and assaults by foul waves of stupidity kicked up by boatloads of ignoramuses. Some of whom wish I'd have drowned eons ago. Too bad for them that I've a powerful will to live.

I am sadden to say this appeared in the Eagle and read Dutch's comment on how he handles trafficRead More studies. http://dundalkeagle.com/component/content/article/2-slideshow/40110-va-responds-to-fort-concerns There will be a fight, unlike anything Dutch has ever seen before. This process has been a sham from the get-go. I love the part about community meetings - only one. I was there and heard the words, we'll get back to the community in a month. Never heard from them again. No studies, no reports, no impact assessment on the community. Another Dutch, Jim Smith and PUD process in action. Hey Dutch, why do you want to ram this deal down the throats of the community. Do you honestly thing that veterans pensions can afford to live in apartments that start at $1,200 to $2,400. Where were you at the one meeting. Where were you when the community stood up against this DEAL! I see all of your old friends are involved in this one. Another question Dutch. Why can't the community get a response from the VA. They have tried, time and again and nothing. Is this the traffic study method used to justify this process: "As for ongoing concerns regarding traffic flow in and out of Fort Howard if development goes forward, Ruppersberger noted that the complex’s older population would minimize traffic. “They’ve shown that seniors don’t use their cars as much, so the traffic shouldn’t be an issue,” he explained."
Bruce Kahl July 14, 2013 at 09:29 am
I found this while going through some blogs. Buzz, your right on and it is typical of their normalRead More response. The talk about community involvement and the "process". It is a crock. They think we will be satisfied with their scripted meetings and shallow responses. As a veteran, I have seen this project take a nosedive. Don't give in to them

I have been photographing a lot of Dundalks forgotten. How can I get permission to have a cess toRead More photograph the buildings?
David Robert Crews July 7, 2013 at 03:26 pm
There were two separate fires down there. The first was in the old hospital building, andRead More fortunately there wasn't much there that was real flammable; that fire did not do a large amount of damage. Unfortunately, security was not tightened and second fire was lit. And that second fire completely destroyed a great, old wooden house. Since then, there has been a return to the 24hr security of on duty VA Police. I doubt that anyone not going to the medical clinic there is allowed on the property, anymore. And it is all - but the active clinic for vets - still rotting away.
Buzz Beeler July 11, 2013 at 07:27 am
Elevate, there is a clinic down there and that's where I would start. Ask them for permission orRead More they can tell you where to go and get it.
