As a public servant and not having a cost of living increase for 8 to 9 years 3% was nice whenRead Moreevery thing else in this world has gone up 25 to 100% over the last decade. I find to be a slap in the face when these guys vote themselves a 15 to 17% pay increase when we put our lives on the line. Something is wrong with this picture.

Think about that when one of those folks have to save your life. While your council persons andRead Moreexec utive sits in a plush office and gives themselves a 15% pay raise. No out cry there DD, you good with that?

Dundalk Dummie I mean Donnie yes there was a negotiation for our raises and everyone in the countyRead Moreg ot the exact same raise, so what makes the council and executive so special to get over 15%? Their pay raises should be through referendums.

We are very grateful to have our dog back, but we will diligently be keeping track of who entersRead Moreou r yard. To the person who cut his leash on one of the coldest nights of the year I hope one day you will be showed the same courtesy. Alone, cold, scared, not knowing where you are or how to get home... That is what I wish for you. Our freezing pet is back in his warm bed, I don't know what kind of monster would do that. But I will find out

Lewis just in your small community of St Helena you have about 100 legal rentals and your guess isRead Morea s good as mine on the illegal rental properties. This is the root of the drug issue, Baltimore County has allowed Dundalk to become the cesspool for section 8 which brings the dope and crime. The police can't be everywhere all the time it takes a community to get involved and assist. How many times have you called 911 for a drug sale? You want to complain start at the top with the County executive and Johnny O

In my community I was walking my two dogs one day. Out of nowhere, we were approached upon by aRead Morelarg e black dog. This dog, it looks like a part breed Rottweiler, attacked one of my dogs. My dog was injured that I had to take her to the vet. After the attack, this dog ran back to his yard from ACROSS THE STREET. A neighbor, about 15 houses down from me, called me on the phone. He saw the attack, in front of his house, and told me that this dog is dangerous and that something must be done about this vicious dog. Later that afternoon, I went to the house where the dog lived. I was not seeking payment for the vet bills. A young woman answered the door. I politely told her what had happened. She laughed it off and slammed the door. So for months afterward, whenever I drove past her house, I thought of her and the attack. Then one day, her furniture was sprawled across the front lawn. She and her husband were being EVICTED !, a section 8 renter. AHH, what sweet revenge ! I no longer live in that community. I had to move out of Dundalk for medical reasons. I did not want to move because I liked Dundalk very much. I make frequent visits to Dundalk and I have noticed that this neighborhood and others, are changing and for the worse. It is such a shame to see that Dundalk has deteriorated and to see that my old hometown is no longer what it used to be, a fine hard working community and neighbors that took pride in their community.
