Attend a real grassroots community event celebrating The Festival of Lights.

At 7 p.m. tonight, emergency services organizations from the Pikesville area will light the large menorah at The Chanukah House of Baltimore.

Bring the family and friends to browse the holiday decorations and recite the blessings on the menorah.

If you can't make it to the event, you can watch it live on webcams, at The Chanukah House website.

Ceremonies will be held each evening through Dec. 16. View the schedule.

The Chanukah House and its events are coordinated and hosted by the homeowners, and donations are accepted, but they are not tax deductible.
