Pick up your American flag… and enjoy baked treats, too!

 On Thursday, June 14, during regular bank hours, The Patapsco Bank invites the public to visit any of Patapsco’s four branches for “Customer Appreciation Day”.  Customer Appreciation Day features baked treats.  On June 14^th in honor of Flag Day, employees will be giving out American flags to celebrate.

 “Did you know Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened that day in 1777?” says Michael J. Dee, President, The Patapsco Bank. “What a perfect time to celebrate a great piece of history and say ‘thank you’ to our customers and friends, too. So we invite our neighbors to stop by any of our branches and pick up an American flag…and, of course, to enjoy our baked treats!  Customer Appreciation Days are important to us…they allow us to thank our long time customers and welcome new ones.  We love to reach out to our neighbors – Patapsco is a true community bank.”

 “And that’s not all that’s happening”, comments Jeanne Kelly-Rieken, Senior Vice President of Retail Delivery, The Patapsco Bank.  “Each employee who donates $5 can wear blue jeans or patriot casual clothes for the day.  All monies raised will benefit the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore …another great way to show our support for friends and neighbors while honoring Flag Day.” 

 The Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County is a private non-profit agency whose mission is to provide comprehensive services for those experiencing family conflict and to provide understanding and consultation for the community at large. The Center provides a “safe shelter” for family members who must leave their homes, children’s programs, as well as a crisis hotline.  For more information or assistance, call 410-285-7496.
