The Dundalk Renaissance Corporation, Back River Restoration Committee, and Clean Bread and Cheese Creek with host Get Growing Dundalk: Home Grown Veggie Contest and Rain Barrel Demonstration on Saturday, August 27 from 9:30-10:30am at Veteran's Park (next to the farmers market).Top zucchini and tomato growers will take home a $50 gift card from Home Depot and a Rain Barrel courtesy of BRRC. Registration begins at 9:30 am, rain barrel demo starts at 10am, and winners announced at 10:30 am. BRRC will have barrels on sale for $40 during the event.

More About Veterans Park
This is a large, grassy park with benches, an oversized clock, fountain and shade trees surrounding the local U.S. Postal Office and the Dundalk Patapsco Historical Society and Museum. The park sits across from the renovated Dundalk Village Center and hosts the annual Independence Day parade.
