Dundalk Photo of the Day: Identify That Meal

Dundalk Patch presents its Photo of the Day.

Dundalk photographer Jimmy Rode spends considerable time at North Point State Park and other parks across the county and state.

He must have incredible patience to get the shots he so willingly shares with Dundalk Patch, and today's image is another example of that patience and his dedication to his hobby of nature photography.

In some of his most recent photo-shooting travels, Rode discovered this snake, resting in a tree after obviously enjoying a meal.

Judging from the size of that lump, it looks like the snake ate something bigger than a field mouse—looks like it could be a chipmunk or something of that size.

In any case, Rode's work makes nature photography look a lot easier than it is. He probably shoots hundreds of pictures to come up with the special gems he shares with Patch.
