As fall approaches winter and Dundalk nature photographer Jimmy Rode continues his digital exploration of North Point State Park and other parks around the area, one thing has become quite apparent: the birds captured on "film" sure look like they're wearing their winter coats.
This house finch looks well prepared for the coming cold months if migration isn't on the itinerary.
