Dundalk resident Rachel Bartock, a senior nursing major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, according to a statement from the college.

Congratulations to Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts student Eva Hill.  Eva was selected for the 2013 Maryland All-State Junior Chorus.  Eva will go through three days of intensive rehearsals with renowned guest conductors before presenting a public concert on March 10, at 1 p.m. at South Hagerstown High School.

Dundalk resident Christopher Szimanski has been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the fall 2012 semester.

To qualify for the honor, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits, according to a statement from the college.

Szimanski, the son of John  Szimanski of Edgemere and Denise  Szimanski of Dundalk, was the salutatorian of Archbishop Curley High School's Class of 2010.
