Public Servant Appreciation Day

This Sunday, August 26, 2012 the Calvary Baptist Church of Dundalk Maryland, located at 7321 Manchester Road, 21222 their eighth annual, Public Servant Appreciation Day. The service begins at 11:00 a.m. The church pastor is Pastor Giovanelli. It is on this day we as a church pay honor and say "THANK YOU" to our police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, correctional officers, doctors, nurses, active and retired members of the United States military, and elected officials. In addition to saying thank you, each public servant in attendance will receive as a small token of our appreciation, a fifty dollar gift card to the Outback Steakhouse. However, the gift cards are only given to those public servants who are permitted to receive them without violating their departmental policies or ethics laws. This way, the public servants can enjoy a "date night" with their significant other. This year, as aways, we sent e-mails, and letters to ALL our local, state, and federally elected officials and the judges of the Baltimore County Circuit and District Courts. Among those elected officials who have committed to attending this year are state Senator and congressional candidate Nancy Jacobs, sixth district state delegates Sonny Minnick and Mike Weir Jr. Baltimore County Ciruit Court Judge Justine King and Baltimore County Circuit Court Clerk Julie Ensor. So, if you are a public servant, or elected official come join us at Calvary Baptist as we honor those who protect and serve us faithfully, twenty-fours hours, seven days a week.
