Dundalk photographer Jimmy Rode posted this picture on his Facebook page Wednesday, but it's obvious he didn't take the picture the same day.
Despite weather forecasts that called for as much as a foot of snow on March 6, the Dundalk area saw only rain.
"Turned my PJs inside-out, put a spoon under my pillow, and threw an ice cube out the door!" Rode wrote on his Facebook page. "It worked!"

He was referring, of course, to local schools being closed. But the decision was made as a preemptive strike, and not because we actually got any snow.
