Your Photos: Dundalk's St. Patrick's Day Activities

March is more than half over and the time for green beer and spring flowers is here!

The rain held out and allowed Dundalk's annual St. Patrick's Day parade to proceed Saturday.

In addition, many Dundalk and Edgemere pubs, restaurants and service organizations have celebrations and special offers for the big day on Sunday.

And across the pond, here's what the residents of Dunmanway, Ireland, have planned,  as posted on Facebook:

"Dunmanway has never been a town to give up an opportunity to have some fun and this year will be no exception.

Paddy’s Day in Dunmanway is a family day out, with floats from the local schools and clubs displaying wonderful colour and pageantry.

The parade will rev up with a large display of vintage cars and tractors led by the local Vintage Car Club with Johnstown Vintage Club.

All the schools in the parish will put on the biggest and best display of talent, with the clubs and groups in the community giving a display of their well-known community spirit.

The SuperValu sponsored parade will assemble at St Patrick's Church and the Long Bridge at 1pm with the parade starting at 1.30pm sharp."

Doesn't sound that much more different than our celebration, does it?

If you attended Dundalk's parade Saturday, please tell us in the comment section below what your favorite part was and add your pictures by clicking the "upload photos and videos" button.

If you're out and about Sunday, and have a green beer, catch the performance of a great bagpiper or see any green dogs, feel free to add those pictures as well.
