Where/When: Pier Six Concert Pavilion, 731 Eastern Ave. Friday, July 15, gates open at 6 p.m.

3. "Closer Than Ever"

Where/When: The Mornington Players at the Dundalk United Methodist Church, 6903 Mornington Road, Dundalk. Friday, July 15, Saturday, July 16 at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Local theater troupe produces this award-winning off-Broadway musical about a couple finding love the second time around.

4. Caleb Stine Hosts Woody Guthrie Dreams

Where/When: Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave. Saturday., July 16, 8 p.m.

Why Go: From the Creative Alliance website: "Woody Guthrie Dreams, (which premiered at CA in 2004) opens in NYC in Sep. Playwright/actor/musician Michael Patrick Flanagan Smith (Woody in his play) cast his real life friend, new actor Caleb Stine as Woodys sidekick Cisco Houston. Caleb hosts Mike and some of the finest musicians in Bmore doing songs from the vast Woody songbook and reading from the visionarys letters."

5. Dundalk Village Farmer's Market 

Where/When: Shipping Place at Dunmanway in Veterans Park near the U.S. Post Office. Saturday, July 16, 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Why Go: Fresh vegetables and fruit, jam, honey and homemade muffins and other foods, locally grown.
