Mother Nature Snows Out Stricker Middle Winter Concerts

New dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

After a semester of rehearsing, General John Stricker Middle School musicians and vocalists found themselves disappointed this week when Mother Nature snowed on two of their three musical parades.

Band, steel drum band and vocal concerts originally scheduled for Dec. 10 and 11 have been postponed, according to the school's website.

Barring any additional winter weather events, the concert featuring the school's three grade-level orchestras will take place Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at Stricker.

School officials are working on rescheduling the snowed out concerts, both of which were to be held at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts.

The new dates will be announced as soon as they can be confirmed, according to school officials.
