Grand Opening: Eastpoint McDonald's

This modern restaurant features a two-lane drive-thru and free wifi.

98 Rock's morning DJ team of Mickey, Amelia and Spiegel helped owner Chris Montante celebrate the grand opening of Dundalk's newest McDonald’s by giving away cd's, 98 Rock tee shirts and Mcdonald's coupons to lucky customers.

“The people of Dundalk deserved a new modern building,” said Montante. “We wanted to give them the experience that they deserve.”

The restaurant, located in the parking lot of Eastpoint mall, also donated 98 cents for every value meal served during the busy lunch shift to the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House, which offers a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families.

Montante matched the amount that was raised from this afternoons promotion bringing the total donation to $280.

The restaurant was completed in beginning of January and according to Montante has been doing significantly more business than the recently closed location across North Point Boulevard, and he expects to have to increase staffing levels to accommodate this business.

The modernized restaurant has an art deco style mixed with contemporary brushed stainless steel furniture that creates a hip atmosphere for customers dine in.

One of the many highlights of the restaurant is the two-lane drive-thru that maximizes speed and capacity.

“The wait times with the two-lane drive-thru are much shorter than the single-lanes,” said Montante. “Allowing out customers to get their meals served faster and more efficiently.”
