Squire's Throwing a Birthday Party on Saturday
The iconic Dundalk restaurant is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year
Squire's restaurant is celebrating a significant birthday this year—the big 6-oh!
But instead of asking for gifts, the family-owned eatery is throwing a party to thank the community for its 60 years of enthusiastic support.
The restaurant's parking lot will take on a Big Tent look on June 16, when the Romiti family will celebrate the restaurant's longevity and thank customers for making Squire's one of the main go-to places in Greater Dundalk.

The free festival will take place on the restaurant's parking lot from noon to 6 p.m.. Activities will include a dance presentation at 1 p.m., live music by Abirose from 2 to 5 p.m. and face painting and other activities for children. A beer garden and pit beef, ham and Roma sausage will be available.
"The Dundalk community has supported us over these many years, and this is our way of saying thanks to the people of Dundalk for making Squire's what it is today," co-owner Lorenzo Romiti said. "It's just a little way for us to celebrate a milestone and thank the community at the same time."
