Blog: Kamenetz Keeps Promise On Crosswalk To The NPCC

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz kept his word to members of the North Point Community Council by installing a pedestrian crosswalk in front of the Food Lion grocery store at 7514 North Point Road.
The topic regarding the lack of a crosswalk at that location came up at the In response to the question, Mr. Kamenetz said that the following day he would give the director of public works two weeks to rectify the situation.
In follow-up comment to my blog, I wrote that I would be down there with my camera to record the outcome of the crosswalk after the two week period. The pictures will attest that Mr. Kamenetz was true to his word. In addition to that, I think it also reveals the cooperation between the citizens and the elected officials when the lines of communication are opened.
