Man on a Mission

Traumatic brain injury victim seeks to educate the public

Dear readers, this blog post will be a brief one because my words pale in comparison to the words that come from the blog’s subject matter.

Please take a few minutes to click on the link and meet Scott Collier.

Scott is a man on a mission. A victim of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Scott is taking to social media to spread his message about TBI. TBI is a terrible thing to go through, but I don’t speak from experience on that. Rather, I believe that Scott’s message comes through loud and clear, despite his injury.

Many might be surprised to know that some of Scott’s message is aimed toward youth sports. Simply put, the more medical science learns about TBI, the more we should realize that we need to do more to protect the brains of our young people. In our competitive culture, it becomes more difficult to reign in the many dangers to our youth.

However, it is better to deal with this now than to have to deal with TBI to a promising young person.

Also, I’m quite sure that many of our wounded warriors would appreciate you taking the time to listen to Scott’s message. After all, TBI is a very real danger to those in combat.

Finally, I would like to share this link to Scott’s YouTube video page. Here you will witness all the information on his gallant efforts to bring awareness to TBI.

Godspeed, Scott. May you get the support you seek, and may your efforts bring awareness to your cause.
