Colgate Flea Market is Approaching!

Colgate gets geared up for its next Community Flea Market and Newsletter. Summit anyone?

The Colgate Improvement Association is getting ready to have its 3rd Community Flea Market, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17 at St. Peters Lutheran Church from 8 a.m. to noon. Spaces are $10 each, but you need to bring your own table.

In the past, our flea markets  have done so well so we've decided to allow food this time. Otherwise, you can sell just about anything as long as it's legal, doesn’t involve drugs, alcohol, sex or violence. We advertise the market before the event and have a bunch of crazy people out in the middle of the street with signs for passing traffic.

Gather up that old stuff and make some money at the Colgate Flea Market. Reservations must be paid in advance. Anyone interested should send a check or money order to Colgate Improvement Association, PO BOX 25776, Baltimore, MD 21224. Spaces go quick so be sure to include your name, address and phone number. If you want a space, contact us as soon as possible. We will contact you to confirm.

Also, the Colgate Improvement Association would like to invite all community leaders and interested citizens to sit down and discuss ways we can improve our district working within our communities. We have a few things we can do together to make a difference. If you have ideas and want change, so do we. Contact us if would like to meet and take some new steps.

Last, but not least, the Colgate Improvement Association is getting ready to release its 4th Annual Newsletter to the community. This issue will include voter registration forms, information on rat eradication, and the usual Colgate Improvement Association Membership application.
