Dundalk Village Fountain Filthy Again

Through the years, I've seen a goodly number of people make wishes and throw coins into the fountain in front of the Dundalk Post Office. I just wish that the Baltimore County employees - who's job it is to clean that fountain - would do it. I posted about it being a mess last year, and that fountain is filthy again. It is so fouls it stinks.

It is a health hazard. Especially to small children who sometimes walk ahead of the adults they're with and kids will put their hands in that dangerous water before the adults are close enough to see the danger and prevent a child from getting some of that foul water on them. All one of those children has to do is touch their contaminated hand to their lips and they could become deathly ill.

The fountain's water pump is still running, but no water has been able to make it past clogged filters and up into the air for more than a month. It's a true testament to the quality of that equipment that it hasn't burned out and died. And it's a true testament to the dismal quality of care that local government has for the well being of Dundalk Village Shopping Center.

It is a clear case of ignorant disrespect by Baltimore County towards Dundalk.
