Dundalk Fall Family Festival this Saturday!

Calling all baby ballerinas, mini-monsters, pirates, action heroes, angels, devils and ghosts! Free family fun this Saturday!

It's free, and it's fun for all ages - Dundalk Renaissance Corporation again presents the 5th Annual Family Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct. 27, 10 am - 3 pm, in Veterans Park at Dundalk's Historic Main Street. Scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating, "scary" storytelling, caricaturists, children's craft tables, trick-or-treating at local Main Street businesses, the Baltimore County North Point Bookmobile are just part of the action. Students from CCBC will be there with their "Dundalk Gets the R.A.P." recycling program, as well as other school organizations and vendors. The costumes and parade are the best part - the Canine Costume Contest is at 11 am and the Kids' Costume Parade and Contest is from 11:30 - 12:30 (ages birth - 4 yrs., 5 - 10 yrs., 11 - 15 yrs.) with prizes for Best Homemade and Best Overall for each group. Mike Brilhart from 100.7 The Bay is guest emcee, and trick-or-treating runs from 1 - 2 pm. The raffle for the iPod Shuffle is at 2 pm, and kids in costume 15 and under are eligible to win. Adults are encouraged to dress in costume as well! Plan to come, bring your friends and neighbors - and your camera! Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 28, 10 - 3.
