Southwest Dundalk Saw 4.1 Inches of Snow

The unofficial count came from the National Weather Service after Monday's March snowfall.

UPDATE (5:30 p.m.)—Several inches of snow fell in Dundalk Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the weather service's unofficial snowfall report, 4.1 inches of snow fell in southwest Dundalk.

Plowing was complete countywide by 5 p.m., the Baltimore County Emergency Management Office announced.

Baltimore County plows roadways within 24 hours of snowfall, beginning with major arteries first, then feeder streets.

As of 12:55 p.m., salting had been completed and plowing was halfway finished in the eastern part of Baltimore County.

"Roads are snow-covered or slushy," the county's emergency operations team reported as they salted roads Monday morning, around 8:30 a.m.

The State Highway Administration advised drivers to turn their lights and windshield wipers on and to be especially careful around pedestrians, bridges, overpasses and infrequently traveled roads.
