Gallery: Signs of Spring at CCBC Dundalk

Mild temperatures mean early flowers, early pollen.

A mild winter and recent weather more like that of late spring than late winter has translated into unusually early spring flowers and budding and flowering trees.

The Dundalk campus of The Community College of Baltimore County is alive with the signs of spring, from the colorful bursts of tree growth to the friskiness of squirrels.

The downside of this mild weather means higher pollen counts earlier in the allergy season, according to experts, and residents can expect the bug population to be bigger this summer.
