Grab and Go Kids Planner, May 20-26

We've dug up some upcoming events both parents and children will enjoy

Parents mutter about not having enough time to do the things we want/need to do. It’s particularly frustrating when we carve out free time but can’t find anything interesting to do with our kids. Patch will help you out each week by providing a Grab and Go list of upcoming events and activities that are parent/child friendly.  

  • May 20, Stargazing. Maryland Science Ctr. 7-10:30 p.m., weather permitting. 410-685-5225.
  • May 20, Tales and Tails.  Irvine Nature Ctr. 10-10:45 a.m. 11201 Garrison Forest Rd., 443-738-9200.
  • May 21, Story Time with Miss Bonnie. Enjoy book selections, crafts, balloons. Ages 2-6. 11 a.m. Greetings and Readings. Hunt Valley Towne Centre, 118-AA Shawan Rd. Recurring every Saturday. 410-771-3022.
  • May 22, Fabricate Beaded Bandolier Bags. Free Family Sundays at the Baltimore Museum of Art, 10 Art Museum Drive, 443-573-1700. May is Adorable Adornments month at BMA, a chance to take a look at accessories in art from cultures past and present. 2-5 p.m. FREE for families.
  • May 24, Summer Learning Expo. The Parent Support Services Office of Baltimore County Public Schools introduces community resources to help parents keep their children engaged in learning activities during the summer. All ages; under 8 yrs w/adult. 4 p.m. Baltimore County Library, North Point, 1716 Merritt Blvd., 410-887-7255.
  • May 25, Preschool Story Time. Spend time enjoying stories, songs and activities. 10:30 a.m. Baltimore County Library, North Point, 1716 Merritt Blvd., 410-887-7255. Recurring every Wednesday.
  • May 26, Baby Boosters Story Time. Simple stories, music and rhymes for babies, birth-23 months, with an adult. 10:30 a.m. Resv. Req. Baltimore County Library, North Point, 1716 Merritt Blvd. 410-887-7255. Recurring second and fourth Thursday of month.
