Week in Review: Body Found; Steel Bonuses Questioned

The week of July 8 had news than ran the gamut, from free summer concerts to the discovery of a dead body behind a gas station on Merritt Boulevard.

Summer cranks along, with high temperatures, festivals and carnivals to attend and beaches to visit.

The news in Dundalk and Baltimore County is just as diverse, with recent reports about a fire on the Fort Howard VA Medical Center campus, the discovery of a dead body behind a gas station on Merritt Boulevard, the kickoff of Dundalk's Concerts in the Park series, a Mid Haven Road fire that dispaced six occupants, and U.S. Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger speaking out against a proposed plan to pay more than $20 million in bonuses to 10 top RG Steel executives at Sparrows Point steel plant.
