Gansler on Party: 'Maybe I Should Have Done Something Different'

The attorney general continues to deny knowing if teens were drinking at party he was photographed attending.

Attorney General Doug Gansler again denied knowing whether teenagers were drinking during a party he was photographed attending, but said he should have done more investigating.

"In this case, maybe I should have done something different," Gansler said during a news conference in Silver Spring, according to The Washington Post.

Photos of Gansler, who is running for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination, attending a party at Delaware beach house were published by The Baltimore Sun on Wednesday. The photo depicts Gansler in a crowd of teenagers apparently taking pictures with his cellphone.

This is the second time since Gansler officially launched his campaign for governor that news media reports have raised concerns about his behavior. Earlier this month, it was reported Gansler allegedly ordered Maryland State Police troopers assigned to his protection detail to run red lights, and use sirens at inappropriate times.
