2012 Ballestone-Stansbury House's 35th Annual Holly Tour

The members of Ballestone Preservation Society would like you to join them in celebrating the 35th annual Ballestone-Stansbury House Holly Tour. The dates of the event are December 1, 2, 8, and 9, 2012  from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. While touring the house, you may feel like you are being whisked back into the 19th century with the house decorated as it may have been during that time, and the
aroma of live evergreens, cider, cinnamon, and cloves permeating throughout the house. On the way to the kitchen building to enjoy hot/cold cider and cookies, you will be walking through a Civil War encampment where re-enactors portray what camp life was like around the holidays. Be sure to stick around for the night fire
demonstrations with the cannons.  The festivities continue as you enter the kitchen building. In addition to the aroma
of hot cider, cinnamon, and cloves, you will also notice the aroma of freshly baked bread. Make sure you don’t miss out on purchasing our freshly baked bread, homemade mini-pies and the gallon jugs of cider because we usually sell out.

Admission donation:  $4.00 per person, $1.00 for
children 12   (Admission tickets are sold in the gift shop)
