Chili Cook-off for Breast Cancer at Hard Yacht Café Benefits The Red Devils

Get fired up for the Second Annual Chili Cook-off to benefit breast cancer and The Red Devils this Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Hard Yacht Cafe. The Red Devils are a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for Maryland breast cancer patients and their families. Head out to “Dundalk’s Best-Kept Secret” on Bear Creek, where the Hard Yacht Café is tucked away at Anchor Bay East
Marina, 8500 Cove Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. Event for the tasting public is 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. although contestants should arrive for set-up by Noon, prepare to cook by 1:00 p.m. and get ready for judging at 3:00 p.m. Chili dishes will be judged in five categories: Aroma; Color; Consistency; Taste; After Taste. Founded in 2002 by the families of two brave young women who succumbed to breast cancer that same year, The Red Devils is a Baltimore-based 501 (c) (3) organization that partners with hospitals across the state which refer patients to The Red Devils service providers to arrange such support as transportation to treatment; meals; house cleaning; and prescription drug assistance.
