Baltimore County, Dundalk Labor Day Closures

The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce office will be closed Monday and Tuesday and reopen Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Baltimore County government offices and District and Circuit courts will be closed Sept. 2, Labor Day.

Health department clinics, libraries, senior centers and trash and recycling drop-off centers will also be closed, according to statement from Baltimore County officials.

CountyRide vans will not operate on Monday, nor will there be any trash, recycling or yard materials collection.

County residents whose trash or yard materials would normally be collected on Sept. 2 should set them out on Monday night for collection on Tuesday.

Residents whose single-stream recyclables would normally have been collected Monday are asked to hold the recyclables until the next scheduled date of Sept. 9.

Officials warn residents that collections of all types may occur later in the day than usual during the week following the holiday. If, during the week, a collection does not occur on the scheduled date, residents should leave the materials out until they are picked up, according to the statement.
