Dundalk's Fourth of July Parade Winners Announced

The Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society and Museum won the award for best representation of the parade's theme of "Dundalk Salutes the Champions."

Dundalk's 79th annual Independence Day Parade, with a theme of "Dundalk Salutes the Champions," was held July 4.

Judges have announced the winners in a variety of categories.

The Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society and Museum claimed the coveted prize for best representing the parade's theme. While many groups focused on celebrating this year's Super Bowl win by the Baltimore Ravens, the historical society chose to honor local champions, including a former Citizen of the Year, a former Milestone Award winner and the society's longtime president.
