Grocery Shopping? Add a Few Items for Dundalk Chamber Food Drive

Nonperishable food items are being collected by the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce through Dec. 18. Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center's emergency food closet is the beneficiary.

With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas still ahead, the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce continues its giving ways with its "Holidays Are For Giving" food drive.

Nonperishable food items are being accepted through Dec. 18, according to an email from Chamber Executive Director Dotty Cristy.

Food items may be dropped off at the following locations through Dec. 18:

  • Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, 7939 Honeygo Blvd., White Marsh, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (410-931-9000)
  • Dundalk Chamber of Commerce office (in the Dundalk Florist greenhouse), 7233 German Hill Road (410-284-3700)
The chamber's recent Thanksgiving food drive netted more than 350 food items, according to Cristy.

All food collected is donated to the emergency food closet at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
