White Marsh Mall Refresh Project Continues with Help From Some Very Small Hands

Yesterday, about 100 children attended our weekly and helped to make the mall shine during our refresh project. The children participated in creating some fantastic handprint pictures to be placed on the scaffolding in the Food Court.

For the next month this large scaffolding will be in place to allow the workers to do some ceiling repairs and window treatments. But in order to make the large scaffolding a little easier on the eye the kids created some great artwork to add color to the Food Court.

And while you are here don’t forget to take a look around and see the latest progress with the refresh project. This week one of the newest additions is the patterned window treatments that have been added to the sky lights. The pattern reflects the same shapes that will be incorporated in the fabric on our new benches and chairs. They also go perfectly with our new modern lighting- creating a more stylish feel. The new lighting along with the paint and updated windows will make the food court look bright and airy, perfect for enjoying a leisurely lunch or a quick snack from any of our great eateries and restaurants.

We have a lot of great events coming up - we will host The Cool Kids Campaign’s latest inspiring project, “Houses of Hope”, to raise awareness for the hundreds of children in the United States living with cancer. Also, don’t forget that the circus is coming to the Boscov’s parking lot from July 18 through the 22. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements.
