Protesting Proposed Toll Increases

Information about how citizens can register their opposition to the Maryland Transportation's Authority proposal to increase tolls.

In a recent legislative update, I explained to residents why I opposed the Maryland Transportation Authority's proposal to significantly increase tolls on our residents.  In particular, I called attention to the proposed increases on commuter rates, and encouraged people to join me in registering our opposition.

I wanted to provide residents more information on how they can lodge their complaints with the Authority.   First, I encourage those who can make it to attend a public meeting that will be held at Dundalk Middle School on June 21.  The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.

For those unable to make this meeting, you may also submit your public comments electronically by visiting http://mdta.force.com/publiccomment.
